In Burundi, the Seeds of Hope project is responding to hunger and poor hygiene in several communities where poverty is rampant. By addressing the root causes of food insecurity and communicable diseases, women and youth gain training and employment opportunities in agriculture and small business management skills and health and hygiene practices. With a stable livelihood and improved health, families can access nutritious food on a regular basis.
