In September and October of 2025, three major earthquakes struck the Philippines, devastating communities in Cebu and Mindanao and displacing thousands of families. The quakes have impacted more than 1.7 million people, destroying homes and causing significant loss and hardship.

In response, Nazarene Disaster Response teams in the Philippines quickly mobilized to provide emergency aid—offering essentials like food, water, and medicine—and organized trauma-informed activities to help children and teenagers process the trauma and begin to heal. Church leaders continue assessing needs and coordinating compassionate support for those most impacted.
