This year's NCM Christmas Project will support empowerment projects that uplift women and girls.

Globally, gender inequality limits the abilities of women and girls to gain marketable skills, to read, and to support their children and families.

When women can’t support their children, school and its associated fees are often out of reach, causing poverty to persist into subsequent generations. Conversely, when women can earn a living, they have the tools needed to lift themselves out of poverty along with their children and grandchildren.

Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is working in partnership with local Nazarene churches in Ethiopia, Liberia, and Ghana to support the empowerment and dignity of women and girls. Through projects that open doors to education alongside vocational training and job placement assistance, women and their families are finding hope for a better and more secure future.
