Description:

On Thursday November 2nd, Tuscany was hit by a severe flood. We have 3 churches in the area: 2 in Florence (which did not suffer damage) and 1 in Campi Bisenzio, one of the most affected places in the area due to the flooding of the river. In just a few minutes the streets turned into rivers, with flooding in dozens of condominiums and other buildings.

The Church building was hit hard, as were the homes of many Nazarenes from both the Campi church and the Latin Church of Florence who live in that location.

We request prayer for all those affected - especially those who find themselves homeless. We are mobilizing those locally to offer practical help.

The damage suffered is enormous. The Church is an empty shell. Nothing is recoverable. The Sunday School space adjacent to the sanctuary are devastated. But we are confident that God will not abandon His church in need and that He will provide.
