Heavy rains in several regions in Peru caused severe flooding, leaving hundreds of families without food and struggling to recover. Many of those affected live in informal settlements and waited for government support that was delayed or never came. Families were left vulnerable, uncertain how they would meet their most basic needs.
The Church of the Nazarene in Peru stepped in quickly, organizing volunteers to pack and distribute bags of food to more than 400 families. In addition to practical relief, church members prayed with families, listened to their stories, and offered hope in the middle of disaster. Neighbors expressed deep gratitude, saying that where the government could not reach them, the church did.
Your giving helps make this kind of response possible. Each gift ensures that families facing disaster receive both essential aid and the reminder that God has not forgotten them.
