Lebanon is facing one of the most severe healthcare crises in its history. Years of financial collapse, the Beirut port explosion, the pandemic, and regional conflict have left hospitals under-resourced, medicines scarce, and professional caregivers in short supply. For many families—already living below the poverty line—the cost of care is simply out of reach.

The Balassan Counseling and Medical Center is responding with compassionate, affordable, and quality care. By providing general medicine, pediatrics, physical therapy, gynecology, nutrition, and psychological services, the clinic serves thousands of people each year. Patients receive subsidized consultations, discounted lab tests and imaging, and partial coverage of medicine costs—making treatment accessible for those who would otherwise go without. Alongside medical care, the center offers counseling, community health education, and spiritual support rooted in Christ’s love.

Your gift helps ensure that roughly 6,000 patient visits each year bring healing, dignity, and hope to families in Beirut. Together, we can strengthen the church’s compassionate witness and reflect the healing touch of Jesus in a time of crisis.
