In the Karangazi and Gishamvu communities of Rwanda, families walk long distances to find water from rivers and seasonal swamps. The water is often unsafe, carrying the risk of disease, poor hygiene, and malnutrition. Children miss school, parents struggle to maintain healthy homes, and entire households are left vulnerable—especially during the dry season, when water sources run out.
Local churches are responding by building a reliable community water system that provides safe, year-round access to clean drinking water. Beyond meeting immediate needs, the system supports irrigation for family gardens, strengthens hygiene practices, and frees children to spend more time learning.
Your support helps around 600 households access safe water, protect their health, and invest in a stronger, more sustainable future. Together, we can bring lasting transformation to these communities.
