On the Melanesian Nazarene campus in Papua New Guinea, students and staff often go without water. A single overused pump and frequent power blackouts create low pressure and dry taps, pushing people to walk to the river for water and disrupting study, work, and health.
This project involves drilling a new deep borehole, installing a solar-powered pump, rehabilitating the existing well, and connecting reservoir tanks across campus. With reliable, pressurized water, 1,000 students and staff—and 500 nearby learners—will have safe water for drinking, cooking, sanitation, and learning. Time once spent searching for water will now support classes, ministry, and family life.
Your gift helps drill the well, power the pump with solar energy, and deliver clean water to every dorm, classroom, and home on campus.
