Description:

Across North and South Kivu, conflict has forced families from their homes, destroyed livelihoods, and left communities without basic services. Local Nazarene churches are walking alongside their neighbors with both urgent relief and long-term support.

In South Kivu, church teams are providing immediate assistance—food staples, essential non-food items, medicines, and trauma-informed spiritual care—for around 500 of the most vulnerable people across multiple communities.

In North Kivu, congregations are helping displaced families rebuild through community reintegration. They are training in financial management, establishing systems for micro-loans, and providing small start-up kits for livelihoods such as agriculture, retail, and basic trades—equipping around 1,800 people to restore income and stability.
