Project Information

This project, located in Albania, is a holistic child development initiative known as Kindergarten AM-EL, started by the local Church of the Nazarene in Kombinat. The project aims to address several critical needs within the community, including providing employment opportunities for women from the local church, fostering connections with more families, and offering a Christian educational option for parents. In an area where the Muslim community is growing, this project seeks to teach children about Christian love and Jesus, nurturing them with values that will guide them throughout their lives. The kindergarten serves children aged 2 to 6 and operates from Monday to Saturday, connecting teachers and leaders not only with the children but also with their parents.

The goal of this project is to serve approximately 60 children daily and maintain contact with about 50 families. Each child participating in the program pays a fee, which helps cover the expenses of running the kindergarten. By providing a safe and nurturing environment, this project is making a significant impact on the lives of both the children and their families. Through this initiative, the Church of the Nazarene in Kombinat is fostering a sense of community, support, and Christian values, ensuring that children and their families receive the care and education they need.
