Food security means having, at all times, physical, social, and economic access to sufficient, safe, nutritious food to meet dietary requirements for a productive and healthy life. In Armenia, this project aims to address the core problem of food insecurity. It’s designed to assist individuals who are refugees or internally displaced due to regional conflicts. Through economic development and financial skills training hosted by local churches, people who are vulnerable are given tools to increase their earning potential, giving their families the funds needed to buy enough food.
