When storms hit, local churches are uniquely poised to offer support to hurting communities. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is committed to providing immediate and long-term support for communities affected by disasters through partnerships with local Nazarene churches.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and Milton, we are supporting immediate relief efforts across impacted states that include providing food, water, diapers, cleanup supplies, and emotional and spiritual support. Through volunteer Nazarene Disaster Relief teams, our approach moves beyond immediate aid to the next stage of recovery. These teams provide deeper relief to impacted communities through cleanup and rebuilding efforts.

Hurricane John caused damage and loss of life across two states in Mexico. In response, the Church of the Nazarene in Mexico is offering compassionate relief to those affected by the heavy rainfall and flooding.

Thanks to your generosity, churches and relief teams are equipped to extend Christ’s love to those in crisis, offering both practical assistance and the hope of a brighter future. Together, we can help storm-impacted communities recover and thrive.
