Project Information

Families in Massissia, Republic of Congo, face daily hardship without reliable access to safe drinking water. Most of the 3,000 residents rely on dirty seawater for washing, while others walk long distances or pay high costs for drinking water. This lack of clean water not only causes sickness but also creates constant insecurity and struggle for the entire community.

The Church of the Nazarene in Massissia is working to change this reality. By drilling a borehole and installing a reliable water system at the district center and nearby school, the project will bring safe, clean water directly into the heart of the community. Families will no longer need to walk miles for water or face dangerous waterborne diseases. The school will also benefit by ensuring students and teachers have the water they need for drinking and sanitation.
