In Samfya, Zambia, more than 6,000 people live without reliable access to clean water. Families walk up to 15 kilometers to reach shallow wells, which run dry for much of the year. The water they do find is often unsafe, leading to cholera, diarrhea, bilharzia, and other waterborne diseases that claim lives—especially among children.
This project provides a borehole and safe community water system that will bring life-giving water closer to home. With clean water available year-round, families can reduce disease, improve hygiene, and grow vegetables for both food and income. Children will be healthier, spend more time in school, and have the chance to thrive.
Your gift helps provide safe water to thousands of people in Samfya, bringing health, hope, and lasting transformation to the community.
