Project Information

In Siloe, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Cali, Colombia, children face daily risks from poverty and violence. Many grow up in homes marked by unemployment or the loss of a parent to incarceration or violence. Families often cannot afford childcare, leaving mothers unable to work and children without a safe place to learn and grow.

Daycare Amor de Jesucristo was born out of this need. Since 2009, the church has opened its doors to provide care, education, nutrition, and spiritual nurture for the community's youngest and most vulnerable children. Currently serving 25 children between 6 months and 4 years old, the daycare offers daily meals, Bible devotions, early learning, and a safe, loving environment. Mothers can seek work knowing their children are safe, while children receive nutritious food, early education, and the chance to experience God’s love in practical ways. The impact ripples into the community as families find stability and new opportunities.
