Many young missionary candidates in South America feel called to serve in vulnerable places, yet they often lack practical preparation for emergencies. In communities where natural disasters, poverty, and social crises are common, this gap leaves missionaries without the tools they need to care for others in times of greatest need.
To meet this challenge, candidates are receiving intensive emergency response training. In Argentina, 45 young leaders are learning first aid, risk assessment, crisis care, and practical skills for disaster situations. Each participant is equipped with a backpack of emergency tools and a response manual, and they practice putting their skills into action alongside local communities. The training prepares missionaries for their future assignments and empowers them to strengthen the resilience of the communities they serve.
Your giving makes it possible to equip these young leaders with the knowledge, resources, and confidence they need to respond in times of crisis. With your support, missionaries will not only share the love of Christ but also bring safety, care, and hope when emergencies strike.
